Office Manager

The Office Manager develops, implements and maintains systems to operate the facility business office in an effective, efficient manner to achieve the financial and operational goals of the facility.  Also maintains admission and financial systems in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.  If you are interested in working in a values driven and fast-paced environment, Hilltop Care Center wants to talk to you!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Fields incoming phone calls.

*Plans and prepares operating budget for the business office.

*Organizes, directs and supervises business office functions.

*Evaluates need for and completes requisitions to maintain adequate supplies and equipment for administrative use.

*Prepares and submits reports and corresponsence in a timely manner as required.

*Maintains an accurate resident census.

*Handles all correspondence related to business office function.

*Verifies resident accounts, verifies charges and transmit accurate statements in a timely manner.

*Maintains accurate resident accounts for Medicare, Medicaid and private residents.

*Communicates and works cooperatively with fiscal intermediaries, accountants, auditors, cost report preparers and private insurance companies.

*Develops an accurate accounts receivable/payable documentation and retrieval system.

*Organizes a system for collection of accounts on a regular basis and when deliquent.

*Prepare checks, invoices, vouchers and pays authorized bills.

*Reconciles bank statements.

*Maintains accurate, neat organized files of all business office records.

*Analyzes billings and submits appropriate statements to Medicare, medicaid, private insurance companies or private paying entities.

*Accurately completes facility payroll.

*Consistent ability to reasonably conform to all rules and policies of the facility as laid out through the employee handbook and by the facility administrator.

*Follows instructions and completes daily assignments as assigned and be proactive to change. Actively participate in in-service program in an effort to advance knowledge and skills.

*Possesses understanding and compassion for the elderly population.

*Has fun creating a positive atmosphere for residents in conjunction with our core values.

*Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION

*Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience of 4 years (preferred).

EXPERIENCE

*Previous administrative experience in a healthcare environment (preferred).

Social Worker

Interested in getting in the social work field? Hilltop Care Centers is offering a unique opportunity social workers to work in an open and fun environment in the field of geriatrics. The Social Worker will work with residents to determine needs and foster an open line of communication between the resident, the facility, and their family. In addition, the Social Worker will work with staff upon resident admission to create a smooth transition into the Care center for all.
